Acceptance of terms

By creating a Goal Buddy account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Eligibility

Goal Buddy is intended for users aged 16 and older. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• One account per person. Impersonation or fake profiles are not allowed.
• Email verification is required before you can post a goal or connect with a partner.

Acceptable use

• Treat your matched partner with respect. Harassment, hate speech, and abusive behavior are not tolerated.
• Do not misuse the Red Button. It is a genuine support alert, and rate limits apply to prevent misuse.
• Do not use Goal Buddy for commercial solicitation, spam, or any illegal activity.

Content and conduct

You retain ownership of the goals, messages, and checkin content you post. By posting, you grant Goal Buddy a license to display that content to your matched partner and, where applicable, in the open goals marketplace.

Reporting and enforcement

Report and block tools are available from any profile or conversation. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or put other users at risk.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

Goal Buddy provides tools for accountability and matching. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or financial advice. Use your judgment when meeting or coordinating with a matched partner.
